Closest door to a little piece of waterfront heaven

We absolutely love this ground level unit and it's proximity to the beach and grassy area. It might not be exactly at the front of the building but it's still very quiet and huge compared to other 2 bdrm units. This 3 bdrm unit has such a big kitchen and indoor area and the bathrooms were great too. Renovated even more since our last stay in this unit, we were really happy with it.

We enjoyed the newly remodeled 3 bedroom unit. The Lanai was beautiful as well as the rooftop setting. The complex was quiet and the grounds were well maintained. Thanks for the great time!



Nice but not perfect condo in convenient resort

We recently stated at the Royal Mauian resort #102 and enjoyed the experience for the most part. Ali'i Resort staff are very professional and helpful. The positive aspects to the condo is the large size, wonderful ocean view, private-ish front yard and convenient location to great restaurants and beaches. The main complaints are with the beds and noise. The beds are way too soft and my husband's and my back began to ache by mid week. If you are sensitive to noise and/or like to open your windows, this is not the place for you. The back bedroom is loud with street noise when closed and there is a hurricane like noise we noticed. Our babysitter even mentioned the noise level. But we knew what the condo would be like so didn't expect quiet and privacy. All in all, great building and lots of places to relax on the property.

We had a glorious stay in the most beautifully decorated 3 bedroom condo we've ever seen. Brian from alii made us feel welcome and provided us with beach supplies for our stay. The condo was perfect for our 6 person group (including a toddler), and having it on the ground floor with a patio and grass immediately out the sliding door was a real plus.

Condo 102 was as pictured. Three generations spent a week in paradise. The condo was in a great location. The beach was directly next to condo. The condo was equipped with beach chairs and even beach umbrellas. Wonderful stay

The large three bedroom two bath condo was clean, decorated nicely, had a great view, and had everything we needed for our week's stay. There were six adults and we had plenty of room. The location is wonderful, right on a nice swimming beach and snorkeling spot. We also enjoyed the rooftop barbecue area. The ocean breeze coming in from our large lanai was great and the sunsets were beautiful! Shopping and restaurants are very close, some right across the street.

Thank you for the use of your wonderful vacation condo. This unit had everything we needed to make our vacation very enjoyable. Great restaurants are located within walking distance or nearby condo. Cooked many meals in our kitchen which had everything we needed for a great meal and enjoyed from patio w/ocean views or on the great rooftop grill area. Very relaxing just able to walk right out of the condo and have a beach to enjoy and not have to drive anywhere if we did not want to! Ali'i rentals were easy to work with as well and I would recommend them to anyone traveling to Maui. Look forward to returning in the future and trying some of the other great locations as well. Although I know this one will definetly be hard to beat!



Wonderful stay at the Royal Mauian #102

Loved being on the ground floor. Although the views aren't as good as when you are up higher, it is still a great view and you have the convenience of just heading out your lanai to the beach. Plus you have that extra space of the beautiful lawn right outside your door. The condo is spacious and beautifully decorated. Lots of beach chairs, coolers. We have been coming to the Royal Mauian for years. The roof top garden is fantastic for barbecues, and dinners up there are fun. The unit is near the street so there is a little noise some evenings, but it has never bothered us. Love the location. Between two beautiful beaches with lots of sun. Kihei has great weather. Fun shopping and restaurants right across the street.We'll be back!



A great vacation, for most of it.

We stayed here for three weeks. For 2.5 weeks we had a wonderful Maui vacation. The service that was received through alli Resorts was good. The condo was a great size for our family (family of 4) and was a really nice place to stay. It was great being so close to the beach. With small kids you are back and forth to the condo and so being beachfront made our lives easier and allowed us to maximize our time at the beach. As well, the Royal Mauian is close to restaurants and a grocery store which worked out great for us. It was easy to pop across the street and grab a couple things. When we travel we like to keep things fairly simple. Overall, it was a really great place to stay and like I said, the condo was nice & a great size. What left me disappointed in the end though was unexpected landscaping work that we had not been adequately warned about. For the last 4-5 days of our vacation we suffered through aerating and fertizlizing of the lawn. We were told it only happens once every 1-2 years, but the fact that the great grass that we had spent much time playing with our kids and walking on to get the beach was covered in dirt (a combination of dirt & manure) was shocking and disappointing. We couldn't eat on our patio & I had to keep the door closed due to the smell and the wind blowing it on the patio.I felt that we should have been given some warning about this and truly feel the condo should not be rented at a time like this. Thankfully we were there long enough prior to this, that it didn't ruin our whole vacation.

I hesitate to give the room the great review it deserves because now everyone will want to experience Maui there. This was the second stay at this particular room and once again it exceeded our expectations. There is no way to describe how great it is to walk out onto the lani and right onto the beach from the ground floor unit. Shopping, restaurants, beaches, snorkling all right at our door. We will be back.

We were referred to Patti by our friends, and came over a year ago to select this for our 3 generation family vacation. This is the ideal location for walking or driving with views that cannot be duplicated from newer buildings. The high level of updating makes this nicer than many newer, less desirable locations. Patti coordinated everything perfectly, and gave us a discount for being repeat guests. Excellent a/C. Bring binoculars for whale watching from the patio. Reasonable snorkel rentals, with coupon, at Mama's across the street. Lots of small cafes and shops across the street.

This is truly a super condo - very clean, recently renovated with lovely furnishings. If you can get a last-minute rate, even better! Very comfortable for eight people with large living/dining area. Closet full of beach stuff: at least six lawn chairs, cooler, sand toys, boogie boards, snorkel set, beach towels. Also had a crib. Kitchen had everything we needed and more (even two complete sets of dishes and Wusthof knives). Bedrooms very comfortable with truly black-out curtains. Ground-floor unit with fantastic view from first thing in the morning! Location is right on the road, but you really don't hear much traffic, etc. at night. Easy access to parking space if you have to load children/lots of gear. One-minute walk to beautiful child-friendly beaches (Kamaole I and II). Abc store, Boss Frog's, souvenir shops and restaurants within a block in each direction. Two small drawbacks - no key for patio door, so must lock from inside and leave from front door. Other issue - only lace curtains in living area, so if anyone is sleeping on living room pull-out sectional, not very private. Otherwise a great place to stay! Friendly and professional staff from Carnie in booking to Mike at after-hours number, Rachelle at check-in, and Jennifer in on-site office. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!



Spacious quarters on the beach in Maui.

We needed a 3 bedroom unit for our entire family and this unit worked well for our needs. It was very close to shops, restaurants and general stores without having to get in the car. The beach was very nice and the unit provided 8 beach chairs which was wonderful. It also had boggie boards for us to use too. Everything a family needs along with a crib.

The accomodation was excellent, newly renovated kitchen, great bathrooms and comfortable beds. The staff meet us on arrival, on time and we had no complaints.

We enjoyed this unit because it was great for the grandchildren. they had lots of room to play and the grass area out front was a bonus. Because this was a family celebration this unit worked wonderfully for us.
